Classes

By using classes you can apply common properties like font color to multiple items.

  1. Default font Georgia, 10pt, Black
  2. Multiple items with class "Class1" Arial, 9pt, Gray

To create a new class choose Style > Classes and click New Class. Define class properties, for example custom font color and click OK.

To apply a class to an item, select the item and choose Item > Class. Select class name and click OK.

When you change class font or color, all items having this class will be updated automatically.

Class code

Class definitions are exported to CSS file:

span.Class1 {
font-family:'Arial';
font-size:9pt;
color:#808080;
}

Class applied in HTML code takes less space and requires single change to update multiple items:

<span id="Text1" class="Class1">Quis autem vel eum iure reprehenderit qui in ea voluptate velit esse quam nihil.</span>

<span id="Text2" class="Class1">Ad minima veniam, quis nostrum exercitationem ullam corporis suscipit.</span>

Style without class takes more space and requires several changes to update multiple items:

<span id="Text1" style="font-family:'Arial';font-size:9pt;color:#808080;">Quis autem vel eum iure reprehenderit qui in ea voluptate velit esse quam nihil.</span>

<span id="Text2" style="font-family:'Arial';font-size:9pt;color:#808080;">Ad minima veniam, quis nostrum exercitationem ullam corporis suscipit.</span>
