Flow

The flow is the process of automatic item positioning down the page, starting from the top of the page and stacking items one under another. By default there are no items in the flow of the page and all items are freely movable.

Adding items to flow

Align > Add to Flow
Moves selected item to the flow.

Align > Flow as First
Adds selected item as the first item of the flow.

Align > Flow as Last
Adds selected item as the last item of the flow.

Flow order

Items created first (1) are written first to the html file and so they appear at the top of the flow. Items created last (2) are written last to the html file and so they appear at the bottom of the flow.

Align > Flow as First
Moves selected item to the beginning.

Align > Flow as Last
Moves selected item to the end.

Removing items from flow

Click and drag the item outside the flow.

Placing items in flow

Drag the item between 2 items in the flow so a black rectangle appears. This is the drop position. Release mouse button to insert the item in this position.

Flow margins

Item > Margins
Changes space between selected object and adjacent objects in the flow, for example top margin (1) and left margin (2).

Flow padding

Flow starts at the top of the page excluding page top and left padding. To change padding choose Page > Padding.

Group with own flow

Choose Insert > Group to create a new group. Each group can have own flow.
